Professional Background

I began my professional career in general banking in the late 1970s, before moving into the financial markets in 1984. My early work was rooted in institutional environments, providing a rigorous foundation in market structure, risk, and capital flows that continues to inform my analysis today.

From the mid-1980s onward, my work focused on institutional financial markets, including foreign exchange, interest rates, bonds, and derivatives. I began applying Elliott Wave analysis in 1987 and have used it continuously ever since, both in my own trading and in advisory roles to professional market participants.

In 2008, I began sharing my work publicly, expanding beyond wholesale institutional commentary to cover a broader range of asset classes, including equities, commodities, and later cryptocurrencies. Since then, my analysis, books, and courses have reached a global audience, with students and readers across more than forty countries.

Media, Recognition & Industry Engagement

My work has been featured in and contributed to a range of respected financial publications and media platforms, including Forbes, MarketWatch, and Seeking Alpha. I have also been interviewed by Forbes Television, discussing market structure and Elliott Wave analysis in a professional, institutional context.

Over the years, I have advised professional traders, institutional desks, and hedge fund participants, including senior market practitioners operating at the highest levels of global finance. This work has focused on market structure, risk context, and the disciplined application of Elliott Wave principles in real-world trading environments.

I also maintain an active presence through written commentary and video discussions, including a dedicated YouTube channel focused on Elliott Wave analysis and market structure, where I regularly share observations and educational insights with a growing global audience.
