Are You Not Receiving My Occasional Emails?

What can you do to fix this?

Hi Reader,

You might have noticed that sometimes my emails don’t land straight in your primary inbox. That’s because Google’s algorithm can get a bit cautious when it sees lots of charts and fewer words — and you know me, I prefer showing ideas with charts rather than long essays!

The good news is, fixing this is super simple:

If you’re on Gmail, just drag one of my emails from Promotions or Updates into your Primary inbox. Gmail will then ask if you want this done for all my future emails. Click yes, and you’ll never miss an update again.

If you’re using another email provider, adding my email address to your contacts and sending me a quick “hello” usually does the trick. That way, your mail app knows I’m a friendly sender who shares useful stuff 😃.

Since I only write occasionally, it’s worth sorting this out now so you don’t miss the next update.

Cheers, Ramki
